The Midwest Elite Basketball Program was founded in 2010 by Coach Ralph Gesualdo. The program achieved success from day one. In the first three years, our teams competed against elite AAU teams across the country, and won many of those tournaments... Nike was watching and called Coach G after the 2013 AAU season. In 2014, Midwest Elite became one of 32 girls basketball programs in the United States, and the only program in Illinois, to be sponsored by Nike. Nike-sponsored programs offer players the most exposure to college basketball coaches, and more college scholarships are offered to EYBL players than any other programs. Our teams practice at the Berto Center in Deerfield, Illinois, a northern suburb of Chicago. Our program includes players from Illinois and surrounding states.
