We are so excited for our 28th Anniversary. Essence has been a part of Nike Youth Elite Basketball since 2007, 1 of the Gold Star Nike programs to win a Nike National Championship and the only Gold Star Nike program in Florida. Nike has expanded to 32 teams to create the Nike EYBL for girls, the same as the boys, showcasing some of the best female basketball players on 1 platform. The Championships culminate in Chicago in front of over 700 teams looking on. Last year,  all of the teams showed extreme resilience. The Girls Nike EYBL is represented across the country. Over the years, the seasons have been an exciting basketball experience. Essence brought home tons of championships, and the major accomplishment is for our young ladies receiving scholarship offers from all over the United States.
