About
Garner Athletic Association is a 501(C) 3 that was established in 1992. Our mission is to use Athletics as a tool that will develop strong character, sound morals, and a strong work ethic in young women and men. Our focus has been on young women and building self-esteem, leadership skills, and self-confidence through a disciplined process of teaching Basketball fundamentals and promoting teamwork, while displaying good sportsmanship and attitude. We Focus on Athletic Development with a strong emphasis on Academics and success after Athletics. Garner Athletic Association is dedicated to providing opportunities in which players of all levels have a chance to learn, grow, and develop physically, mentally, and socially on and off the basketball court. We hope the experience the participants have with our organization will lead to more success in Middle School, High School, College, and into their work life’s.
